Football Kenya Federation (FKF) conducted its Physical Endurance Test (PET) for the first time since its resumption into office. This comes after FIFA’s suspension against Kenya was lifted.
The physical test was conducted by Stephen Oduor, Madam Dorcas Moraa and madam Tabitha Njoroge who ensured that the match officials were fit enough to officiate in the various leagues.
On the other hand, the technical test was conducted by Moses Osano, Madam Damaris Kimani and the FKF Integrity Officer Mike Kamure, who ensured that the match officials are well equipped with the knowledge so that the matches would not be subjected to any match manipulation.
In the closing ceremony of the physical endurance test sessions, the match officials were allowed to air their challenges while officiating the matches. The match officials outlined the challenges, and the FKF officials responded to them and ensured that all the challenges outlined were well tackled. Those who responded to the challenges facing match officials were led by the FKF CEO Barry Otieno.
The Physical Endurance Test (PET) was conducted between the 14th and 16th of November for the FKF Premier League match officials, between the 19th and 21st of November 2022 for the National Super League (NSL) match officials, and it concluded with the National Division One match officials between 28th and 30th November 2022.
Youth Affairs, Sports and Arts Ababu Namwamba said that they would work round the clock to ensure the full resumption of football activities locally and internationally.
