Marriage is for better, for worse, and the ‘worse’ factor leaves everyone thinking and meditating before making the life vows.
A Nigerian lady called Amara Venessa left the internet buzzing after cancelling her traditional wedding.

The lady gave reasons for cancelling the wedding a few hours before the special moment in her life.
Amara indicated she had many reasons to call off their traditional wedding and shared a few on social media.
“He felt I was a single mum, desperate to be married even when he was also a single father. Mind you, he doesn’t have a car oo. The car was mine, and he uses it too,” she wrote.

Amara shared chats with her man, showing issues that brought conflict between them.
“As a single mother, how can I marry a man I keep spending on instead of building up with him? I feel he sees my son as an obstacle. They don’t seem to like each other. I am glad I took that decision,” she added.
The outspoken lady accused the ‘hubby not-to-be’ of exuding inappropriate behaviour in front of her son even after talking about it.
“I can’t afford any more situations that bring out the worst in me. I can’t afford to bond with another wrong soul. It’s exhausting and requires too much for me to recover from it. I need calmness and gentleness in my life,” Amara wrote in a separate message.
Her messages left some of her fans sharing their opinion on what transpired between her and her lover.
James Ubi Eteng: “Next time, you do proper homework before delving into a serious relationship. Marriage is for adults, not kids.”
Ezeigwe Chidozie: “You don’t need all this drama, my sister. Just move on with your life jare.”
Faith Thompson: “Abeg where you meet this man? Which app make I go delete from my phone?”
Uzoamaka P Ogbonna: “You should go for thanksgiving because God saved you. Congratulations!”
Chinwenwa J Ogbuehi: “Nne, post his picture make other girls no go fall victim, oh!”

Anokwute Chimaobi Collins: “You are too immature to enter marriage.”
Susans Solomon: “You see all these red flags, sis, but why did you still proceed with the marriage preparation? Well, you need to go for proper counselling.”
Festus Madu: “The only thing I see in this episode is no love on both sides. The two of you are too calculative and overly conscious. These issues are not even up to one-quarter of what some couples are going through. Anyway, whatever the case is, it is better the wedding is called off for the sake of both your mental health and overall well-being to avoid bigger and life-threatening issues. Both of you have ulterior motives or are too immature to handle the ‘hassle’ of marriage.”
