A lady on social media identified as ‘Rule your Space’ has narrated how she called off a wedding with her ex-fiancé because he was ready to help and spend money on strangers while his mother was living in poverty.
“He took me to visit his parents at Ejigbo. He was living in Lekki. Buys drinks for total strangers and spends millions for friends but his mum still sells ugwu by the roadside and lives in an uncompleted zinc house,” she narrated.

She explains that the man told her that he was working on some things and would do the needful. Her friend condemned her, saying that was not her business, but her mother supported her move.
“It was not easy but God was there until I met my hubby today. My mum is late now and my mother-in-law is such a sweet soul. The children and grandchildren love her too much,” She mentioned.
She advised, “A man who does not care for his parents should not be entering your eyes. If he does not love his mum, chances are you will be treated the same way when he tires of you.”
Her move did not go well with her fans, who said although they were glad she made that decision, they believed she didn’t like him that much and that not taking care of his mum was her ticket out of the relationship.
“If u truly loved him, you could have helped him see the error of his ways and do better unless he refuses to become better,” Cyprian Chelsy said.
“I felt you made the matter worse by leaving him. He will get worse; you could have stayed to help him be a better man by showing him the right path of responsibility. Did you even try talking to him about your observations and what could be done to make things right? Bernf16 questioned.
