Julius Malema, the South African opposition party leader has faced sharp criticism after he opined that calling for resignation whenever an opponent point out one mistake, or two indicates personal instability.
He went ahead and mentioned that stability is determined by the systems being implemented to ensure things don’t fall apart saying there is need to stop seeking validation from those who wish others to fail.

“We need to stop seeking validation from those who wish us failure; it’s a new thing we are trying to do, and from time to time, there will be gaps, and we must close them if we are determined to make it work,” the opposition chief said.
Nkuli Mbundu responded by saying, “something doesn’t add up here. You called for President Mbeki to go, then later apologized to him and to South Africans. You called for President Zuma to go, then you went to “have tea” with him to make amends. You have now called for President Ramaphosa to go. It’s anyone’s guess what you will do after he is removed.”
He further added that according to the opposition leader, calling on leaders to resign is correct only if it fits his own logic and strategy when it doesn’t suit it is inconvenient.
“Haha! You’re the least of people who should be preaching about stability Mr Malema. The last time I checked, you called for the resignation of Pravin, Godongwana, Cyril, Cele. The list is endless. How do you not see the hypocrisy?” Master Ndozi questioned.

I am your fan but sometimes the inconsistencies tick me off, you are equally quick to call for people’s resignation. Almost sounds like the only legible resignations are those signed off by you. Thapelo is facing a mountain and he shouldn’t sound unsure and we don’t need that right now,” Themba Too said.
