A number of stable marriages have ended due to cheating allegations. Mfon Abia, a Project Management professional, has written a message to married men explaining how they can control their wives.
Abia explains that a family is the bedrock of society and marriage is a big thing in our culture adding that if we fail to get it right in marriage, our children will become irresponsible and it will affect our well-being for a long time.

“Dear Nigerian Men, the time you waste on a side chick(s) should be invested in your wives. Loving your wife is a good investment with a great return on investment. Showing your wife love is a sign of strength, not weakness,” Abia mentioned.
She went on to elaborate that the Bible says, husbands, love your wife as Christ loves the Church.
“Just show a woman love and she will nearly give her life for you. It doesn’t take a lot to love a woman. If you don’t know how to love her, ask her, read books and research,” Abia added.

She went on to plead with men that it was time for them to start loving their wives unconditionally. She questioned, “When was the last time you gave her a kiss on her forehead or cheeks? When was the last time you gave her a good treat? When was the last time you sent her money just to spoil her a little?”
She advised them to stop wasting their time on side chics, adding that wives will do many things for their husbands that side chicks can’t do. She explained that the message was out of the experience.

Christopher Wekwulo explains that a man that doesn’t have a relationship with Christ can’t love like or as Christ. No matter how disciplined he is or endowed his wife is he will still go outside a reason why the side chic is not one.
“The best a disciplined man can do is to provide for his wife her material and emotional needs but outside is certain. To the men, patronising side chicks without restraint understand the consequences are deep, maybe not broken trust, home or STD/STI but untimely death or unfilled destiny as a result of too much union with other bodies (spirits) through sex,” he explained.
