“To anyone who has been laid off at CNN, a great new life awaits you. It may not feel like it, but it’s there. Please reach out to me if I can be of any help, talk, vent, and intros, whatever or if you want to just decompress with a road trip to Kenya, I will be your travel agent,” she wrote on her social media page.
She added that since leaving CNN, she has learned, what goes up must come down. “Years later, I see that what goes down, also comes back up. It will be a journey in reinvention. It will be hard, but your CNN family will be there for you. Those bonds are unique. Be gentle on yourself. Take a walk in nature. Take a break. Big love.”
