20 years ago, two Kenya Airways flight pursers met at work and started their love life. They are always in the skies. Their Love has skyrocketed in the air as they serve their customers with incredible dedication.
Santo Kyengo and his wife, Venus, said they dated for three years and have been married for 17 years.
“I joined Kenya Airways to meet my husband. I believe God wanted me to meet the man he had chosen for me. He also wanted me to see the world because there is no other way that I could explore the world if it was not to be part of Kenya Airways. Lastly he also made sure I see the world with my husband,” Venus happily said.
On the other hand, Santo appreciates meeting his wife, saying with the kind of schedule at work, she was the only person who would understand when he came home in the middle of the week, feeling fatigued or having jet lag.
“She loves gifts and most ladies do, by the way. Wherever I go to a different destination I get her a gift, however small it is, this makes her feel good and loved,” Santo mentioned.
Venus advised women always to appreciate their husbands because most of them love to be appreciated. She reveals that cheering your husband is one of the best gifts you can give him because it is attached to his ego.
“Our house has been a transit session, sometimes when I am at home he is not.The longest we stayed together was during Covid 19 pandemic period when all aircrafts were grounded. I got to learn with him in a totally different environment of being at home,” she stated.
“Everybody has their own struggles. The moment you open up to people who will not belittle or label you this becomes the first step of growth as a man. This helps in becoming a better gentle man, father, and husband,” Santo disclosed.
They advise young couples to be real and believe they can make their marriage work regardless of the issues.
