GFE 105 FC sets its eyes back on the National Divison One league after a successful campaign in the previous season. The Eldoret-based side had to play two times in the payoffs to secure their spot after finishing second in the Western Division Two Zone B league.

They had to play their final playoff against  Ichuni combined after they both finished second in the respective playoffs. They won the match 2-0 to book the ticket back to the third tier.

GFE 105 FC has had some good signings to boost their squad ahead of the upcoming season.

Solomon Maina from West  Indies FC, Dickson Rabari and  Boniface Otieno from Tumkass FC, Vincent  Owino from De-La Shark, Isaack Munyasia from Gusii FC, and David Shiveka who makes a comeback having previously featured for the side are the new acquisition.

Most of the signings they have acquired are from Eldoret and they have proved their worth during the previous season. This might be a  strategy to lure their home fans to rally behind them as they are starting a  new journey toward the National Super League. Fans are always supportive when they see a  player they know and trust.

GFE 105 FC will host their home matches at the ever-packed ASK Eldoret showground which has proven to have had harden fans. Being the only club representing Eldoret town in the National Division 1 league they are expected to have a  huge following, especially from langas. Those who have visited the ASK Eldoret Showground can testify that getting a  point from that ground while the fans are around is very hard.

ASK Eldoret Showground is also home to Bondeni FC playing the regional league, Langas Superstars, playing division Two, and  Solasa Stima Queens who are also playing the Women’s Division One league.

GFE 105 FC begins their campaign against the Green Commandos from Kakamega at Kakamega High School on Saturday 30th, 2023. The  Green Commandoes slipped in the last games to finish third behind Luanda Villa and Zoo Kericho respectively in the 2022-23 season.

GFE 105 FC has been one of the most decorated football clubs in the North Rift region in the last two decades. They have previously featured in the National Super League (NSL) during their prime days a  thing that most football clubs in the north rift region have failed to achieve.

Other new entrants in the National  Division One Zone B are Nakuru Bucks from Nakuru and  Kiminini Combined from Kitale.

GFE 105 FC is a Christian football club based in Eldoret Kenya with the aim of evangelizing the gospel through sports specifically football.
