There is an increased rate of women filing for divorce compared to men. According to Assata Shakur’s Burner, a TV series connoisseur, this is because there is a pandemic of single married women in our modern community.

Assata said that there is no point in having a man in one’s life if he is just an additional work and not a partner. She added that it is better to stay single rather than have such a burden in life to deal with.

Her fans agreed with her sentiments saying marriage was never established for the comfort and convenience of women but for men, for them to be comfortable, get service and do whatever they want.

“I separated from my husband because he was not adding any value as a partner, but I’ll stay married to him forever if I can because at least, the medical benefits I get through him are useful,” Sarah Marie revealed.

“When my friend and her mother-in-law who lives with her and her husband got COVID-19. She asked her husband to take a day off work to take care of their two little boys and he said he couldn’t. I made them soup and took it over so they at least wouldn’t have to cook. He’s lucky he wasn’t home,” Tasslefizney said.
