Dr. Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam, also known as A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, was one of the most beloved and respected figures in India’s recent history, he rose to become a renowned scientist, author, public servant and a president.

Born in 1931, Dr. Kalam is known for his contributions to India’s space and defense programs, his dedication to education, and his vision for a better world, achievements in science and technology.

In 2002, Dr. Kalam who was often referred to as the “People’s President,” was elected as India’s president, a position he held until 2007. During his tenure as president, he to promote his vision for a better India and a better world, traveling extensively throughout the country and engaging with people from all walks of life.

He passed away in 2015, but his legacy lives on. He continues to inspire young people around the world to pursue their dreams and to work tirelessly to make the world a better place, his life and work serve as a testament to the power of dedication, hard work, and a deep commitment to the betterment of society.

He played a key role in developing India’s first satellite launch vehicle and was instrumental in the success of India’s space program, he also led the development of the country’s first indigenous guided missile, the Agni, and played a key role in the testing and development of the Prithvi missile.

He was also prolific writer and author of several books, including his autobiography, “Wings of Fire.” In his book, he chronicled his journey from a small village to the highest office in the land, reflecting on the challenges he faced along the way and the lessons he learned.
